Brokers

Independent brokers are a small but important component of our business.  Over the years we have developed an exclusive group of brokers whom work with us on a consistent basis.  CBG Capital welcomes new relationships with mortgage brokers and loan intermediaries.  Reasonable commissions are permitted as long as the fee is fully disclosed and agreed to by CBG and the borrower in advance.  Our process is well defined, allowing brokers to provide a valuable service to their client.

1. Complete the online Loan Application on our website in its entirety.  This form will automatically forward to our underwriting staff.  Email all required supporting documents to cbaker@cbgcap.com.  Please title each attachment by project name.
   
   

2. Within two (2) business days our underwriting support staff will work directly with the broker to review the loan request and complete the preliminary analysis to determine the feasibility of funding.
   
    
   
3. Within one (1) business day after the completion of the initial loan request analysis, a telephone conference will be scheduled with the broker, borrower(s) and CBG’s senior underwriter to review CBG’s scope of services, underwriting and due diligence process. Following this conference call, CBG will provide the borrower with an agreement that describes the scope of services and the terms and conditions of engagement. 
   
   
   
4. CBG will immediately begin its loan underwriting process upon receipt of the executed scope of services and engagement agreement.
